hewasinvitedtothevariousuniversitiesandleftawakeofvictorybehindhimallaboutGermany; butatlastalittlestudentinStrasburgdefeatedhim。 TherewasformerlyastudentinHeidelbergwhohadpickedupsomewhereandmasteredapeculiartrickofcuttingupunderinsteadofcleavingdownfromabove。Whilethetricklastedhewoninsixteensuccessiveduelsinhisuniversity;
