AftersomelittlepreliminariestheysettleduponCorporal\"Wat\"Payne,ofmycompany,astheirfirstvictim。ThereaderwillrememberPayneasoneofthetwoCorporalswhopulledthetriggertothescaffoldatthetimeoftheexecution。
