AndsuddenlyIrejoicedinthegreatsecurityoftheseaascomparedwiththeunrestoftheland,inmychoiceofthatuntemptedlifepresentingnodisquietingproblems,investedwithanelementarymoralbeautybytheabsolutestraightforwardnessofitsappealandbythesinglenessofitspurpose。 ThenIreflectedthatIhadmyselfperemptorilydismissedmyofficersfromduty,andbymyownacthadpreventedtheanchorwatchbeingformallysetandthingsproperlyattendedto。
