Thefactofspiritualizationproducesresultsinstrikingcontrasttothefarceofmaterialization：theoneproducestheresultsofchastityandpurity，theotherthedownwardtendenciesandearthwardgravitationofsensualismandimpurity。
Theexaltingandhealingeffectsofmetaphysicsshowtheirfountain。
Nothinginpathologyhasexceededtheapplicationofmetaphysics。

ThepresentChristianitymakesanexcellentprivateChristian，butitsendeavorstomakeanexcellentpubliconegofornothing，substantially。
Thisisanhonestnation——inprivatelife。TheAmericanChristianisastraightandcleanandhonestman，andinhisprivatecommercewithhisfellowscanbetrustedtostandfaithfullybytheprinciplesofhonorandhonestyimposeduponhimbyhisreligion。Butthemomenthecomesforwardtoexerciseapublictrusthecanbeconfidentlycountedupontobetraythattrustinninecasesoutoften，if\"partyloyalty\"shallrequireit。
